Be advised. My PC is overheating or my HD is dieing or both. I may disappear from the net soon, and with out warning 
Edit 07/21/09: OK. I think (knock wood) we’re back to normal. The machine is aging and I imagine I’m going to start encountering some heat issues so I’ll just have to be more careful about air circulation.
